VIA Carbon Free Computing Logo Program and Certifications

To help generate awareness of Carbon Free Computing and help consumers easily identify Carbon Free products, VIA has established three certifications and logo programs covering processors, components, and full PC systems. For all three programs VIA works closely with regional partners to offset CO₂ emissions through energy conservation, reforestation, and alternative energy, giving back to the local community.

• VIA Carbon Free Computing Certified Processor: VIA offers a line of certified Carbon Free processors in cooperation with our regional offset partners. PCs using VIA Carbon Free processors are eligible to use the Certified Processor logo.
  
  
  
• VIA Carbon Free Computing Certified Component: The Certified Component logo identifies system components such as storage, memory, and chipsets which are Carbon Free. VIA works closely with component partners to help calculate the CO₂ produced during the lifetime of the component and then jointly work with local partners in offset projects.
  
  
  
• VIA Carbon Free Computing Certified System: The Certified System logo identifies PCs which are completely Carbon Free. VIA works closely with system partners to help them calculate the electricity consumed and associated emissions produced during the lifetime of the PC and then work with local partners in offset projects.
